Delivery

This course uses a blended method of delivery, including both online and face-to-face elements. The face-to-face component of the training takes place as a series of six full-day workshops, each running from 9am to 5pm. Each of the sessions is conducted by an experienced professional security trainer and will consist of:

  • Classroom-based training – both theory and practice
  • An engaging learning environment for invaluable skills such as defence tactics, negotiating conflict, controlling a crowd, and much more

The online learning component of the course may be completed from home at your own pace, but you must have completed the content before taking part in the face-to-face training. The online learning content consists of:

  • Multiple choice questions
  • Reading materials
  • Interactive learning modules

You should take note that if you have previously taken part in an accredited HLTAID011 Provide First Aid training course (and your certificate is still current), then you only need to attend five of the six days, as you have already completed one day of the course content.
